The Opportunity

 

The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our federal clients. The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice (GPS).  We currently have an opportunity for an associate analyst to join our growing practice.

 

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

·  Assist in analyzing large client financial and operational data sets by compiling data into visually represented reports
·  Assist in performing manual and automated data extraction, transformation, and loading procedures by running reports, checking and compiling data
·  Assist in creating executing queries to view, create and update client data by defining report requirements and developing reports
·  Assist in generating reports and interactive dashboards by designing, developing, and running reports
·  Assist in creating and processing data files and other client deliverables by compiling data into reports
·  Assist in the evaluation of data files according to client expectations of data quality
·  Assist in creating client business, financial and operational documentation by keeping version control, compiling data to create final documents
·  Assist in the collection of client financial and operational data for weekly / monthly and ad hoc reporting by analyzing data and reporting any risks or concerns
·  Execute on and deliver engagement specific tasks as directed 

 

Skills and attributes for success 

·  Innovative mindset, staying up to date on industry trends relevant to client’s business
·  Ability to analyze data sets using a range of analytical techniques and assist in problem solving
·  Strong technical skills and troubleshooting techniques

 

To qualify for this role, you must have  

·  United States citizenship; and must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or higher
·  A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of related job experience or demonstrated ability to learn and perform the role 
·  Exposure to and coding experience in SQL, R, and/or Python is required
·  Experience in Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI visualization development and integration with live databases is preferred
·  Exposure to ETL concepts and/or tools is desired
·  Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
·  Flexibility and ability to work with a nationally distributed team
·  Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
·  Ability to prioritize assignments, meet tight deadlines, and follow up on open issues
·  Excellent English language skills – both written and verbal

Ideally, you’ll also have  

·  Ability to progress towards achieving CISA, PMP, Tableau, Power BI, or a programming or statistical language certification(s)
