EY - GDS Consulting GRC Technology - Staff

 

AsEY GDS Consulting Staff, you’ll contribute technically to GRC Technology client engagements and internal projects/initiatives. You would be responsible for development and support of technology projects related to the processes around Governance, risk and compliance. You would be interacting with key stakeholders on regular basis. You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

 

Job Summary

 

·  As a professional with the GRC Technology practice at EY, you will contribute to Governance risk and compliance engagements and internal innovation initiatives. An important part of your role will be to actively participate in client engagements by executing engagement deliverables with the guidance of seniors and managers.
·  In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll ensure that work is of high quality and review comments from seniors are adequately addressed. You’ll help to create a positive learning culture, share innovation/automation ideas, take ownership to complete the assigned tasks and assist fellow team members while delivering an assignment.
·  At EY GRC Technology, we enhance performance through creating risk-enabled organizations. We help clients identify important risks, design frameworks to manage them and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management. As a GRC Technology professional, you will be addressing client issues such as business performance variability, business and process controls transformation; application security integrity, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) technology enablement, business and/or IT GRC, continuous control monitoring. You will belong to an international network of specialists helping our clients transform risk functions and implement technology solutions that support risk management and governance.

 

Client responsibilities

 

·  Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products, media & entertainment, property development and management, education and health sciences.
·  Liaison with EY colleagues across the globe and deliver scope of services within risk management, business and process controls transformation and corporate governance reviews.
·  Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management and a commitment to client satisfaction.
·  Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers. Gain acceptance on a wide variety of issues impacting the client.
·  Conduct research and assist senior team members for preparing client presentations and go-to-market materials.

 

People responsibilities

 

·  Continually develop personal skills through trainings and on-the-job learning.
·  Participate in the career and performance development of the practice by training new staff and providing timely and specific performance feedback.
·  Foster teamwork and innovative, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.
·  Leverage ideas from other project engagements to enhance knowledge and create efficiencies.
·  Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
·  Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments.
·  Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.

 

 

 

Qualifications required

 

·  Post-graduation: MBA (Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, Operations, Business Strategy)
·  Graduation: B.Tech or BCA
·  Professional Experience: 1 - 3 years of professional experience in related domains

 

Functional skills requirements

 

·  Good understanding of business processes like Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Inventory Management, Project Accounting and Human Resources (one or more)
·  Hands-on experience with ERPs like SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and JD Edwards (one or more)
·  Understanding of risk-management principles, audit concepts and exposure to related standards is highly desirable.

 

Technical skills requirements

 

·  Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++/HTML/ABAP/VB/SQL/DOT NET/PYTHON
·  Ability to develop share-point websites and/or mobile apps
·  Proficient in MS-Office tools - Excel, Word and PowerPoint, ACL

 

Other Job Skills Preferred

 

·  Awareness of disruptive technologies like cloud computing, block-chain, internet-of-things (IOT), robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) is a big plus.

·  Focus to ensure successful and timely delivery of quality deliverables.
·  Actively support other team members to implement the internal innovation ideas.
·  Apply advanced analytical skills in assessing concepts/principles and building alternative solutions.

·  Excellent verbal/ written communication skills and interpersonal skills are must
