Financial Analyst, Financial Services Risk Management - Structured Finance - Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Analyze financial information and advise clients on issues facing the financial services sector, focusing on structured finance. Conduct quantitative analyses, including complex cash-flow modeling, Break-even analysis and other essential services, to provide clients with strategic recommendations to identify, measure, and manage structured finance issues. Focus on evaluating and comparing the relative quality and risks associated with various securities, including residential mortgage-backed, commercial mortgage-backed, and asset-backed securities, and collateralized debt obligations. Advise clients on structured product portfolios, including valuation, regulatory reporting, model validation, operational reviews, and asset-level due diligence. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Perform extensive model validation for internal QRM requirement. Lead global teams and oversee reviews of distributions of structured investments managed by various asset managers. Draft Engagement Letters, Proposals and Agreed upon Procedures Reports which detail due diligence, cash flow modeling and deal structuring.

 

Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, must have a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience. 

Must have 3 years of experience in banking/capital markets at a commercial bank or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company. 

Must have 3 years of experience in the Financial Services industry; 

Must have 3 years of experience in: 
- Risk management, front office, middle office or back office securitization related activities within Banking Capital Markets 
- Real estate finance, fixed income securities, or securitization
- Valuation or transaction issuance knowledge of fixed income products including CLO 
- ABS, RMBS, CMBS or CDO
- Intex 
- CAS, Bloomberg, Moody's Wall Street Analytics, or Citigroup Yieldbook 
- Model validations 

Requires domestic and regional travel up to 30% to serve client needs.
