Work closely with executives responsible for creating and driving data driven solutions within EY and our clients. 

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is experienced with database tools including Azure, MySQL, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL as well as proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau. The data engineer will play a key role in the ETL process and is comfortable collaborating with teammates from diverse academic backgrounds (e.g. economists, data analysts, ML scientists, and business managers) when:

·  Determining the types of data that are needed to maximize algorithm performance and business impact
·  Developing and maintaining data pipelines
·  Monitoring data quality across multiple projects
·  Converting and exchanging different file formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) across ERP systems
·  Ensuring that data files are ready for analysis, modelling, and/or dashboarding

The Team

As a data engineer you will work with a growing team of data scientists to build econometric and machine learning models topredict business performance and provide impactful business insightsin key areas, such as financial forecasting,scenario planning,employee attrition and productivity, and understanding our clients, which will provide key inputs to critical businesses processes.  Underthe guidance of senior team members, you will participate in schema design and implementation of data pipelines. You will build reports, create insightful analytics, and communicate findings to business leaders.

Minimum Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field
·  Experience in supervised & unsupervised machine learning 
·  Proficient knowledge of Azure/AWS or any cloud platform
·  Proficient with SQL and common relational database toolsas well as ETL flows (SSIS)
·  Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate across multiple levels in the organization
·  Experience preparing/manipulating complex data for analysis, modelling, and/or dashboarding
·  Experience automating data pipelines for multiple projects
·  Familiarity with one or more programming languages used for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization: R, Python, Julia.
·  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Additional Experience

·  Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
·  At least one year of post-graduate experiencein technology, consulting, business, or government
