Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

 

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the content management of digital publishing for one or more countries/areas  within the firm, fostering the successful application of knowledge conducive to those professionals serving clients. The position requires a full understanding of the policies, procedures, processes, technology and related systems that comprise the firm's content management infrastructure.

Specific responsibilities include publishing or maintaining the quality and relevancy of content included within the firm’s knowledge infrastructure. The role assists in the operational processes associated with the development, management and execution of a variety of projects pertaining to core content management repositories and web sites. This role is also responsible for content management for specific types of content used by a community.  This may include transforming technical content, thought leadership, go to market strategies, and/or other content relevant to the community into searchable, hyperlinked, and otherwise navigable pages within our firm’s relevant publishing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
·  Accountable for the editing or publishing of content for one or more service/sub-service lines within the firm.
·  Utilizes technical ability and manages content updates received from a subject matter resource or a team lead and, with minimal instruction, makes the necessary, corresponding changes (edits, document additions, document removals) in a complex web-based content management systems.
·  Reviews and edits digital content for consistency and accuracy of information.
·  As needed, redacts or edits digital content for global projects.

·  Communicates status effectively with team leaders keeping them apprised of project status. Identifies problems. Investigates potential solutions and seeks guidance when necessary.
·  Cross-promotes content to related site sections, homepage sections, webcasts, interior pages, mobile sites and e-newsletters.

·  Creative and efficient in using web-publishing and formatting tools

·  Performs work independently, with moderate level of review, and is assigned to projects of moderate complexity and visibility, as well as projects requiring planning and coordination
·  Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and organizationalskills
·  Strong project and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
·  Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a team environment
·  Proficiency with typical MS Office tools (Word, Excel, IE), as well as a solid comfort level with technology
·  Experience with HTML or XML
·  Strong understanding of the relevant publishing technologies and knowledge infrastructure elements
·  Must perform with a high degree of accuracy
·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
·  Approximately 2-4 years relevant work experience
