Job Summary:

Office Connect team as part of Compute Network Services area provides advanced support to work with complex LAN and WiFi networking infrastructure projects related to office relocation, office expansion, office infrastructure renew, office decommissioning and other requests.  WiFi-First transformation is one of the main objectives in the Office Connect Strategy in order to align our end users / customers to EY high end technology footprint.

 

This position will provide strategic, operational and project management support to the Office Connect leadership group spread globally in 3 different regions composed by Americas, EMEIA and ASIAPAC/JAPAN with a defined mission of modernizing the workplace with a WiFi-First strategy; managed support services, analysis and focus on our service delivery cost reduction and cost avoidance, operational risks and improving performance, service delivery and quality through extreme automation methods.

 

This person will help integrate the best practices across these regions and drive standardization across the teams.

 

The professional in this position will drive and implement different success metrics that will quantify the business cost savings, cost avoidance, project design & implementation success rate, WiFi performance stability and other key metrics that will be defined within the business plan.

This role will be key to help the office connect leadership team to provide innovative and timely communication to our end users or support groups on all the key programs and plans in scope.  He/She will help structure and integrate Monthly Business Reviews, Executive Reviews, Quarterly Reviews.

 

This position also requires program management experience as this person will help drive global improvement programs needed within Office Connect to improve quality of service, case management and end to end alignment across the CNS groups or support groups.

 

The professional assigned to this position will be located in Alpharetta – GA.  This position will provide technical subject expertise, problem solving and analytical skills, capacity to integrate all the region’s needs, ability to integrate information at executive level, strong attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, capacity to work under stress and strong teamwork.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Project management
· 
Integrate and structure Monthly/Quarterly business reviews

· 
Capacity to effectively communicate at different management levels

· 
Analyze and integrate existing or new information to identify areas of opportunities or improvements needed across Office Connect

· 
Helps integrate Office Connect communications thru different innovative channels (emails, videos or any other technology devices)

· 
Integrates end Of Life Refresh plan across the regions with respective key success metrics

· 
Provides liaison with ARM & TES having important communication and relationship skills

· 
Provides engagement Site coordination to several activities when planning changes to projects and to restore incidents

· 
Provides reference for multiple geographies, vendors and wide-scale refresh

 

Technical Competence

·  Advanced or fluent English / Spanish is a plus
· 
Knowledge in automation languages and concepts like Python, Ansible and DevOps

·  Green Belt or Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
· 
Experience in working in projects performing deployments of network devices, supporting incidents and engineering to Cisco switches, Knowledge of LAN concepts and telecommunications basics

·  Knowledge on WiFi basic concepts
·  Willingness to learn and consistently exceed expectations

Administration
· 
Capacity to learn and use different administrative tools within EY

 

Client/Team Relationships

· 
This person will need solid soft skills and capacity to clearly communicate with different teams that are considered our internal customers

·  Support the inventory including the %EOL.
·  Support the costs related to projects and changes.

Monitor different success metrics to measure quality, cost savings and risk mitigation.

Support the people and activities performed, as reported in project and engagement hours.

Provides service quality as reported in INC MTTR, PRB compliance and RFC quality.

Supports that the solutions provided align to the business needs and is not afraid to drive change or implement different solutions never put in place before.

Travel may be required to guide implementations or meet the different business needs .

Weekend or late night work support may occur during project phases.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Three to Five years of experience in Infrastructure Operations/Engineering/Projects or Information Technology or equivalent experience.

 

Certification Requirements:

CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S, CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless certifications or equivalent knowledge.

ITIL V3 foundation certifications or equivalent experience
