Our business tax services help clients succeed by assisting them with the strategic and operational challenges facing their tax functions, analysing tax opportunities and benefits that can be attained by them, assisting clients in identifying and managing strategic opportunities and risks that relate to significant prospective planning, and providing tax-related domestic and cross-border planning and compliance assistance to business-connected individuals and their associated entities.  Be part of a global team that helps build sustainable tax strategies; assesses, improves and monitors tax functions’ processes, controls and risk management; and supports clients in managing effective relationships with tax authorities.

 
About the opportunity

In your role as a Bookkeeper, you’ll support a team of professionals who provide accounting and tax related solutions and compliance to high net wealth individuals and privately owned businesses. Working with such an interesting and diverse range of clients, no two days will be the same. You’ll enable efficient operations and allow the team to focus on providing the best possible service to our clients. Open to either a full-time or part-time role, this would even suit those looking to work school hours. Attendance at client sites will also be required at times.

 

Your key responsibilities
·  Provide monthly and quarterly bookkeeping support
·  Assist with MYOB administration and draft financial / activity statements
·  Provide payroll calculations
·  Provide administrative support to the Private Client Services Team
·  Assist with ATO lodgement and administration
 
 
Skills and attributes for success

·  The ability to prioritise tasks and work both autonomously and as part of a team
 
 
To qualify for the role you must have
 
·  Experience in a Bookkeeping role
·  Strong skills in MYOB (including payroll), Xero, MS Word and Excel
·  Advanced communication, organisational and administrative skills
·  Proficiency with using internet and databases
·  The ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service.

 
Ideally you'll also have

The ability to communicate to Management any areas of process improvement
