Backend Engineer, IT Advisory - Financial Services Office Manager (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.

Work with a software development engineering team responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying new and existing software application programs. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in Java.

Must have 4 years of experience in a Java Framework (Spring, EMS, Authentication)

Must have 4 years of experience in designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs

Must have 2 years of experience building applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.

Must have 3 years of experience with modern collaborative development tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines)

Must have 4 years of experience in an Agile and TDD environment

Must have 4 years of experience in design & architecture large business critical systems

Must have 3 years of experience in data modeling & architecture

Must have 2 years of experience in Kafka/RabbitMQ.

Mus have 1 year of experience in the following technologies:
- ElasticSearch
- AngularJS/ReactJS
- Hadoop/Spark/Flume
- Mongo/Cassandra/Any NoSQL DB

Requires travel up to 15%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.
