We are looking for an Intermediate Automated Test Developer with a focus on automation that will help support us tobuild and release engaging, innovative applications, and bring them to market quickly.

What you will do:

·      Collaborate with developers, designers, analysts and product managers to ensure that quality is integrated into every stage of the development process.

·       Engage in a wider quality assurance team to help improve quality across the whole of the Innovation Hive, supporting the introduction of new tools and working practices to improve testing and reduce time to delivery.

·      Support the Quality Assurance Manager to help develop and maintain the automation test framework being used across the Innovation Hive.

·       Work with other members of the Innovation Hive to help promote and drive the importance of testing as part of the software development lifecycle.

·      Help build the knowledge base within the QA team to include other areas of testing such as performance testing, security testing, etc.

If you’ve got big ideas, as well as the confidence to voice them, this role is for you.To qualify for the role you must have:

·      A work attitude that is curious, collaborative, empathetic, humble, reflective, energetic, and agile (see above).

·       Proven experience working within an automated testing environment and hands on experience developing and implementing automated testing frameworks.

·      Proven experience writing test scenarios and determining effective and efficient ways of testing applications.

·       Experience with automated testing and BDD tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity BDD, etc.

·      A pragmatic approach to quality with flexibility in approach, willingness to adapt quickly and initiative when working in unstructured environments with limited supervision.

·       Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.

·      A high level of drive and commitment to delivering high quality work.

·       A structured approach to problem solving.

·      Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process, as well as supporting quality assurance as part of DevOps practices within the team.
