Our People Advisory Services business (PAS) is focused on people management and our vision is to help our clients get it right - in all its facets - strategic reward, global mobility, HR transformation, legislative compliance and much more. PAS has three key pillars: Mobility, Reward, and Performance, Systems & Talent.

The opportunity

Our Human Capital business is focused on people management, and our vision is to help our clients get it right in all its facets – reward management, global mobility, HR transformation, legislative compliance and much more. Human Capital has three teams: Global Mobility, Total Reward (encompassing Global Employment Taxes, Performance & Reward and International Stock and Mobility) and Human Resource Advisory.

In Total Reward we advise leading companies on their total reward strategy, ensuring the alignment of all elements of reward with their business strategy. By focusing directly on our client’s business issues, we provide financially driven solutions for their reward programmes, from reward strategy to advising on each element of the package that is both pragmatic and implementable. As a result of working with us, our clients will have increased comfort and peace of mind that their reward strategy is fully aligned to their business strategy.

 
Your key responsibilities
·  Preparation of forms P11D and PSA calculations
·  On site reviews of PAYE/NIC compliance
·  Calculating tax and NIC liabilities
·  Assisting clients with disclosures to HMRC
·  Drafting correspondence with HMRC and clients
·  Drafting proposals and external marketing material
·  Attending meetings with clients and HMRC
·  Assisting with projects working to tight deadlines
·  Assisting with ad hoc client advice
·  Assisting the team with larger tax efficient remuneration projects
Skills and attributes for success
·  Quick learner; able and willing to carry out a range of client and technical work
·  Commercially aware with a general interest in business and finance
·  A degree of flexibility to meet client /department needs and deadlines
·  Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly
·  Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output

 

To qualify for the role you must have
·  Good numerical skills
·  Calm & methodical, can adhere to and manage deadlines
·  Excellent communication skills - written, questioning and listening
·  Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
·  Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
·  Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
·  Self starter; willing to be accountable for their decisions and output
·  A-Levels or equivalent - 2 (preferably grade C or above)
·  GCSE's - 6 (grade C or above, including maths and English language)
·  Computer literate

Ideally, you'll also have

·  Tax experience desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
·  Study support may be available towards the ATT or CTA as applicable
