EY D&A is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific working in multiple sectors including financial services, government & public sector, energy, mining & metals, and consumer products. We have more than 400 specialist staff in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, The Philippines and Malaysia.

 
We’re are currently looking out for Consultants with a background working on data warehouse/ Analytics related projects.    

The ideal candidate will have sound technical/ functional experience and be comfortable explaining in simple terms the business impact of creating and modifying solutions. The role is a fast-paced, exciting position and is an opportunity to develop a broad range of high-demand skills. Projects are team-based and highly collaborative, and the solutions being developed for their clients are driving tremendous value.

About you:

·  You will need to be highly motivated to succeed and have a strong technical background combined with superb consulting skills across BI or IM or Analytics
·  You will have a passion for customer service and the ability to work in a billable hour environment
·  Under direction, work as a member of a team and autonomously and show a real sense of urgency and not easily get discouraged by obstacles.
·  You will need to be highly motivated to succeed and have a "do whatever it takes" attitude
·  You will be methodical, detail minded with strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude combined with a degree of flexibility – all geared to exceeding client expectations
·  You will have strong problem solving, analytical and time management skills combined with exceptional communication skills.
·  You will have demonstrative knowledge or hands-on experience with some of the following;
·  ETL – SSIS, Datastage, Informatica
·  BI – SSRS, Cognos, SAP BO, Microstrategy
·  Database – Teradata, DB2, SQL Server
·  Analytics – SAS, R, Hadoop, Hive, Python
·  Data Visualisation – Tableau, Power BI
