The Supply Chain & Operations discipline is undergoing radical changes as it meets the challenge of improving performance in a world of unprecedented complexity and opportunity and it must balance increasing needs for agility with driving down costs and improving cash flows. Your challenge
In this role you will work within the Supply Chain & Operation practice of EY Advisory Amsterdam with an international team to successfully transform clients’ Operations. These challenges will allow you to develop yourself further in the area of (Digital) Manufacturing. You engage with clients from the Shop Floor to C-Level, on topics as Supply Chain strategies, Manufacturing Transformations, Smart Factory, MES/MOM, Advanced Planning, etc. Projects typically comprise an analysis and advice phase followed by an implementation period.  

Your responsibilities
You will be asked to work in (cross-functional) teams in an international context, whilst taking on individual responsibilities. It is your responsibility to combine quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyze the problems of the client. You will further combine communication and commercial skills to present your recommendation to the client and you have strong interpersonal skills to implement solutions and drive change. In this way you help clients improve the efficiency, quality and reliability of supply chain and operations processes with a major impact on business results. You will also quickly grasp new theories and concepts and apply them within a client context and you are able to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. Finally, we expect you to be an active member of the SC&O team and help in contributing to the development of all team members.

This is you
We would like to get in touch with you, if you:
·  Have at least 1-3 years working experience in Consultancy and/or the Industry in the field of Manufacturing Excellence, Smart Factory (Industry 4.0), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Internet of Things (Iot)
·  Have a proven record of MES projects, from Business Requirements management through multi-site project Implementation. Holistic view on Operations Manufacturing processes and Manufacturing OEM software solutions
·  Have completed a Management, (Industrial) Engineering or similar study with strong academic records
·  Are able to speak and write Dutch and English fluently
·  Have excellent analytical capabilities, drive, enthusiasm, conceptual thinking, communication and influencing skills and pragmatism in execution
·  Have a proven ability to team effectively with diverse groups
·  Are excited to work internationally.
