Job Summary:

The Administrative Manager, Supervising Associate participates in the implementation of Administrative Services strategic plans, as well as in establishing and maintaining performance measurements for a customer base of 250-649pp. The Administrative Services function is responsible for providing the most efficient and economical administrative support to the firm’s Client Serving and CBS service lines. This position monitors financial and operational performance in accordance with established administrative services parameters. The Administrative manager must understand the structure and business of the organization and clients they support to effectively manage resources and processes. This position will lead and develop individuals and teams by using people management processes and tools that involve staffing, training, supervising, coaching, and performance management to achieve optimal performance.

Responsibilities:
·  Promotes an understanding of Enterprise Support Services (ESS) goals and contributions to secure necessary support from others to achieve business unit goals.
·  Solicits on going feedback from customers to evaluate and coach executive assistants on their performance
·  Manages workflow and negotiates assignments for executive assistants based on client need and resources
·  Sets up full project plans including; objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar and nature of deliverables
·  Demonstrates proactive business development by initiating discussions with existing clients on possible additional work and satisfaction with current support
·  Coordinates and assists with budget planning and is responsible for operating within approved budget
·  Must meet or exceed the needs of our internal clients by partnering with other groups within the matrix organization, cultivating those relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value.
·  Anticipates what customers want and follows up to check that internal customers are completely satisfied
·  Creates a knowledge transfer culture within a team
·  Participates on national or area projects
·  Develops an understanding of the key business and financial drivers that determine the firm's success
·  Exercises influence at many levels of the organization
·  Proactively identify and address project risks and opportunities
·  Can identify alternative solutions when necessary
·  Comfortable with change and managing people’s reaction to it
·  Excellent communications skills
·  Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential
·  Project management experience
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
·  Ability to manage and counsel people
·  Ability to work with all levels within the firm and build solid relationships with multiple internal groups
·  Demonstrates deep knowledge in a discipline and broad knowledge of related disciplines
·  Must be experienced with all  Microsoft Office Tools
·  Supervises mid sized teams up to 30 pp within a location or department
·  Helps team and colleagues understand the bigger picture of technical, ethical and financial needs
·  Requires minimal supervision
·  May manage people virtually
To qualify, candidates must have:
·  Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
·  Approximately 6-8 years of experience
·  2+ years managing people
