Job description

Role: Administration Assistant - People Advisory Services (PAS)

Location: Dublin

Position: Permanent

 

You will be responsible for providing administration, financial and clerical support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations within the PAS (People Advisory Services) department. Reporting directly to the PAS tax partners, you will work with the PAS leadership team in the delivery of day to day action items.

 

Overview

You will play a key role in supporting our client serving engagement teams to manage their compliance projects and their operational and financial performance. You will be the first point of contact and will analyse, diagnose and resolve queries to develop a strong culture of financial awareness, and accountability. You will also be required to take a proactive approach to support engagement teams in meeting financial targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Administrative support to ensure effective and efficient office operations

·       Maintaining, downloading and filing new data uploaded to compliance database by clients

·      Liaise directly with key stakeholders / management team in relation to billing and compliance

·       Preparing reports, invoices and fee templates / global billing templates

·      Maintaining a database of invoices and billing details

·       Covering client acceptance, client code set-up, drafting of engagement letters, processing of invoices

·      Maintaining status reports for tax returns

·       General monitoring of e-Room documents (uploading/downloading docs)

·      Other ad hoc duties

Skills and Qualifications

·      Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic

·       Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

·      Proven time management skills and able to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency

·       Excellent written, oral and virtual communication skills with the confidence to assist with delivering presentations, training material and knowledge sharing 

·      Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and build strong relationships

·       Strong IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and SharePoint
