As the ECB (Enterprise & Cloud Billing) unit within Ericsson (formerly MetraTech) we continue to accelerate our leadership in cloud and enterprise billing and settlement to enable customers to quickly and flexibly support new revenue and monetization models. Our solutions enable global commerce innovation as industries transform to actively participate in the Networked Society enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT) and Everything as a Service (XaaS). We enable customers to create and securely collect revenue, provide settlement to partners and manage their customer lifecycle. ECB is now part of Ericsson’s strategic CGIS group which is responsible for Ericsson’s foray in the non-telco industries such as Utilities, Transportation, Airports and is at the forefront of Ericsson’s IoT portfolio and strategy.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic UX Designer to drive, enhance and own the vision for all of Enterprise & Cloud Billing (ECB)’s user experiences. At the core, the UX Designer should be an expert in interaction design and human factors and as well as have had some level of visual design experience. The ideal candidate should have the key ability to synthesize great amounts of information about users, business and technology and be able to lead the design of new as well as re-designs of legacy User Interfaces. They should be able to communicate and drive design solutions through the organization that meet and exceed the users’ expectations.

Responsibilities

·  Collaborate with product management, product owners and engineering to define and implement optimal solutions for the product experience
·  Perform research and analysis of our target businesses, technologies, and users to provide input into the design process
·  Analyze and model findings to describe the context of the user doing work and to tame complexity of our configurable products
·  Identify and design UI components to be reused across the product set
·  Optimize interaction design by streamlining work and understanding flow, state and transition within and across mobile and desktop devices
·  Elevate the UI design by enhancing layout, configuration, micro interactions and visuals for targeted personas
·  Conduct research and make adjustments to ensure a match with targeted personas
·  Execute and have a bias toward doing. Love ambiguity and chaos and delivers clear solutions in a timely manner
·  Communicate and negotiate continuously through-out the process between multiple stakeholders as well as target customers
·  25% Travel or less

Requirements & Qualifications

·  Proven UX design experience with complicated domains or businesses – B2B Enterprise experience a key requirement.
·  Research, Analysis, Design, and Communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating the entire process
·  Proficiency in design tools and techniques, understanding and ability to use the appropriate tool to match the need
·  Examples of sketches, refinements, and prototypes to describe interactions
·  Demonstrated cases of negotiating, optimizing and communicating designs
·  Pragmatic mindset to work with different teams and their development processes
·  BS/MS in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, architecture (built environments), computer science or related experience
·  UI design experience with HTML/CSS applications and frameworks such as Bootstrap a definite plus.
·  3-8 years of experience

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

·  MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
