Description

We're looking for a Technical Product Owner who is passionate about the entertainment space and wants to guide the next wave of technologies for our cloud-based Video Platform. It's a hands-on role with the responsibility taking customer requirements from Definition to Delivery and beyond, thereby ensuring our customers success. You will be the Customers advocate within the Engineering team, ensuring they understand the Customers' needs and priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent language and communication skills and strong core program management skills. Your customers and engineering resources will be geographically diverse, therefore your ability to manage across time zones is crucial. You will operate in a matrix organization where resources have conflicting incoming requirements and dependencies, which requires you to be able to multitask, prioritize your work and support others with prioritizing theirs.

Technical background is required, ideally in cloud-based IPTV - content streaming protocols, content protection, and DRM technologies associated with the distribution of content in the connected home and Cloud Technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

·  Be as the Program Manager for the Engineering team
·  Represent your Customers within the Engineering organization
·  Monitor, drive, report (internally and externally) on all customer requirements
·  Guide the customer and Internal teams through the Engineering organization
·  Ensure the right people are talking to the right people
·  Track Engineering commitments to Customers
·  Ensure Engineering is aligned with what the Customer is expecting
·  Ramp up quickly and master the relevant technical domain for your areas of ownership

Qualifications:

·  PMI certification
·  A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related work experience, ideally in cloud-based IPTV.
·  Previous experience leading customer engagements in cross functional and geographic locations
·  A strong technical background combined with a proven track record of shipping products in an Agile/SCRUM based environment
·  Prior experience as a software engineer preferred
·  Previous experience from running cloud-based services in a DevOps environment preferred
·  Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
