Objectives

The Summer Internship Program at Ericsson is the chance for E/// to reach out to selected academic institutions in the UK that work closely with E/// in the area of 5G, Cloud and IoT and select suitability qualified graduates to work with regional E/// CGIS teams. In doing so said graduates will get a chance to immerse themselves into E/// and get learn about our targeted industries and how we bring our technology, through leadership and strategy to market

Main Responsibilities
The selected graduate will be responsible for establishing and handling an internal database on that captures all existing information related to UK public qualification and questions (PQQ) activities taken by CGIS team in the last 2 years
This will require the selected candidate to sort through the E/// response to selected Government and Industry PQQ & tenders and select the best and most suitable response to be loaded as our “template” response in the Database
In addition, there will be a further small research project related to buying and procurement patterns related to IoT and the Cloud in the UK that will need to be untaken during the selected graduate employment. Output of which such be a report and presentation to the CGIS Leadership team.

Education
A Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Software design, ICT, Digital technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent

Experience and Skills
Although no work experience is required candidates will be selected in terms of similar research or database type projects that have performed during their undergraduate studies. Candidates would be well advised to make any research that have within the fields of Cloud and or IoT in the UK apparent
It is expected that candidates will be fully MSN office knowledgeable and can work comfortably with Word, Excel another Office application.
Excellent verbal reasoning and be fluent in English.

Location
Position will be located at the E/// UK Head Office in Guildford

Duration
Position will be for the months of 1St June through to End of August. (Flexibility of start date subject to completion of end of term exams and papers will be taken into consideration)

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be offer based on prorate basis
