The Role: Treasury Analyst II

Purpose
Perform operations, security and reporting activities within the Treasury department, including meeting the company's cash funding needs, electronic payments, cash reporting and forecasting activities, and manage bank accounts and fees.

Essential Job Functions
·  Open/update/close bank accounts relying on authorization by management and on the knowledge of banking services (funds transfer, ACH, positive pay, etc.) in order to procure the correct account services based on the business unit/ corporate needs.
·  Manage/update signers on all bank accounts and checks as appropriate and in compliance with the corporate delegations of authority
·  Analyze costs of bank services and prepare monthly reporting using the data from account analysis statement and Excel spreadsheets and relying on analytical skills and the knowledge of pricing of bank services in order to identify and correct any errors in charges
·  Serve as a Security Administrator for North American banks using bank software and relying on knowledge of ENGIE policies and procedures in order to prevent unauthorized access to company bank accounts
·  Manage bank account security using the positive pay fraud prevention tools and electronic issue files and relying on the knowledge of corporate delegations of authority in order to prevent fraud on corporate bank accounts
·  Activate/update/deactivate entitlements for bank software users using bank setup tool and relying on authorized request from BU in order to insure the each user is given the correct access to bank accounts
·  Verify and report monthly cash balances using ENGIE treasury systems ensuring reconciliation with Accounting team for month end closing.
·  Determine the daily cash positions for North American entities and build/maintain model to provide a short term cash forecast for each cash pooled entity incorporating information from the businesses on anticipated receipts/payments. Analyze and report on significant drivers for changes in cash positions
·  Calculate the monthly net settlement for each cash pooled entity and relay information to accounting team to ensure appropriate entries are made
·  Confirm payment instructions and/or changed payment instructions for North American vendors. Work to obtain electronic payment information for all legacy vendors allowing number of check payments to be reduced
·  Review all non-check payments using appropriate support documentation and relying on the knowledge of North American delegations of authority in order to confirm that the required approvals have been obtained
·  Manage the entry/approval/release of manual wire transfers and ACH payments relying on the knowledge of the bank software's payment initiation tool and segregation of duties within North American Treasury policies and procedures in order to insure that daily payments are completed
·  Compile data for annual Foreign Bank Account reporting for foreign accounts to enable completion of corporate and/or individual reporting to IRS
·  Identify and implement process improvements for treasury and finance activities; may include updating/rebuilding spreadsheet tools for cash forecasting and letter of credit management
·  Issue/amend letters of credit in an accurate, timely manner such that they are accepted by the external customers
·  Create reports related to letter of credit portfolio information and utilization; reconcile/pay letters of credit fees and approve the parent guarantee fees related to letter of credit portfolio
·  Acts as a team member within the Treasury, Finance, Insurance and Credit team
·  Complies with all ENGIE policies and procedures and delegations of authority
·  Carries out other duties as assigned

Requirements

·  Fluent in all aspects of treasury operations including cash pooling operations for multiple companies
·  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  Prior experience with commercial bank internet tools
·  Prior experience with SAP and/or Kyriba TMS is highly preferred

·  Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
·  Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
·  Could involve some lifting

Education/Experience

·  Bachelor's degree required with preference for business administration (accounting or finance)
·  2-5 years relevant experience required
·  Progress toward professional certification of Certified Treasury Professional highly preferred
