ENGIE are recruiting a Technical Services Supervisor to be based on the Pinderfields and Pontefract Contract, Wakefield. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

You will be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective maintenance service throughout the hospital, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained. Providing supervisory and quality management to a maintenance team, including subcontractors ensuring the safe and continuous operation of mechanical and electrical building plant. You will support in the development of the PPM system as well as assigning work to the site operatives and subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Support the day to day delivery of all hard planned and reactive services to ensure response and rectification times are met in line with SLA's.

· 
Manage the compliance with all statutory requirements in relation to safe working practices and safe operation of plant, equipment and services.

· 
Support the Technical Services Manager to ensure the integrity of all critical systems – HV, LV, UPS, Medical Gases, Nurse Call, Water Systems, Pressure Systems, LOLER to current Legislative, Regulatory, Statutory and Department of Health requirements.

· 
Provide leadership, advice and guidance on all aspects of building services maintenance and repair.

· 
Liaise with the Technical Administrator and Helpdesk team to ensure all planned and reactive work records are accurate and up to date.

· 
Keep records of all activities as per all Health Technical Memoranda (HTM and SHTM) and Quality Assurance requirements

· 
Ensure effective business relationships are established and maintained with all key stakeholders

· 
Support the TSM to ensure appropriate levels of AP, CP and RP personal are trained, qualified and experienced in each required discipline.

· 
Help produce and validate monthly reports on behalf of the TSM demonstrating service compliance.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Qualified to HNC or equivalent in engineering, electrical, Mechanical or building fabric discipline
·  Accredited to IOSH
·  Ability to obtain relevant Authorised, Competent and Responsible Persons status
·  Must have (or be able to obtain) Disclosure Barring Service clearance.
·  Technical leadership and understanding of planned and reactive maintenance on a hospital site.
·  Basic skills in supervision and people management including customer service
·  Basic commercial and financial awareness with proven knowledge of budgetary control
