Role Summary
· The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the tasks and schedule of a mechanical technicians.
· Ensuring the efficient and effective completion of technical tasks such as preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, and ensuring the closure of work orders.
· This role involves coordinating daily operations, providing technical guidance, and managing resources.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support a team of technicians, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring completion of the tasks.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex issues.
· Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical problems.
· Monitor progress and address any escalated issues that arise.
· Ensure that all technical work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
· Manage and allocate tools, equipment, and materials effectively.
· Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper maintenance of technical resources.
· Act as a liaison between technicians, engineers, and managers.
· Provide regular updates on project status, team performance, and any issues.
Requirements
· Proven experience in a mechanical technical role, with at least 2-3 years.
· Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage technicians.
· Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
