ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Supervisor to be based in Fossway Community Fire Station, Union Road, Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE6 1EH.

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week (plus an on call rota to deal with emergencies) Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and on offer will be a salary of £17,800 to £18,200 dependant on skills and experience.  This role will report into the Contract Manager.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  Site Supervisor is responsible for the facilities management of the Fossway Community Fire Station, and this would include:
·  Completion of daily, weekly checks, and other Planned Preventive Maintenance as per ENGIE PPM schedule
·  Liaising with the contractors on day-to-day basis and overseeing works as required, both PPMs and reactive works. Issuing of Work Permits – training to be provided.
·  First response for any reactive jobs and completion of jobs whenever possible 
·  Liaising directly with the helpdesk, and engineers to ensure the jobs are completed within SLAs
·  Attending site audits as per audit plan
·  Being proactive and taking ownership of maintenance of the site
·  Being customer focused and liaising with the client on a day-to-day basis to ensure a high client satisfaction
·  The role will be based Monday till Friday (8 AM – 17 PM)
·  Reporting directly to the Contract manager on a daily basis
·  Carry out any reasonable request as instructed by his line manger
·  Covering other Sites when required (e.g. to cover sickness)
·  Attending monthly toolbox talks and any training as required
·  Adhering to ENGIE H&S as per Zero Harm plan

Qualifications and experience required:

·  Understanding of the L8 ACOP 
·  A robust understanding of Health and Safety is required
·  Proactive attitude
·  Knowledge of the Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW would also be beneficial
·  Handyman/Plumbing skillset would be beneficial
