As part of ENGIE Company project, Business Unit North South East Central Territories Europe (NECST) is engaged in a transition towards a new energy world, increasingly decabornized, digitalizated and decentralizated. The strategy of the BU is fully aligned with ENGIE ambition to be a leader in the energy transition in Europe. The BU NECST is implemented in various European Countries except from France, Benelux and UK. Its activities are related to two main areas :

·  Energy : Energy, infrastructures and renewable energies marketing and sales
·  Services : Great positioning in its geographical perimeter.

Because of its 18.900 employees support, its wide range of activities, its strong land integration and skills allowing to meet new businesses, the NECST BU is a main asset to Engie achievement in becoming a leader in energy transition in Europe.

The BU NECST is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst (H/F).

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will report to the Deputy CFO & your responsibilities will be :

- Propose risk governance framework. Propose adaptations to maintain risk policies & procedures up-to-date and well-adapted to the BU's business environment

- Provide credit expertise (credit analysis, recommendations) in the framework of recurrent commercial transactions

- Provide credit risk advice for investment files or significant contracts, particularly those requiring approval at BU or group governance bodies

- Establish global view on credit risk exposure at BU NECST level

- Alert management on any significant (credit) risk events with potential material impact

- Foster a good understanding of credit risk matters across BU NECST's countries. Support/coordinate the credit risk community where needed.

- Be the expert at BU level on risk tools(a.o. internal rating tool (ECR), external scoring tools, etc.). Provide training/support to countries.

- Develop understanding of the BU's market risk exposure

- Monitor Market Risk exposure based on risk reports and exchange with countries

- Be involved in current & future transversal finance matters, requiring risk knowledge (eg. Implementation of the new IFRS 9 standard)

- Provide ad-hoc analysis on specific topics

As part of a small Finance team at BU level, we expect you to be flexible in order to contribute or lead other finance topics, where your risk expertise is a plus.

Key relationships:

- BU's CFO and finance department at BU level

- Finance departments & risk functions in the countries

- BU ERM function (Strategy)

- GEM Risk department & GEM teams in countries

- Group risk function (DCFTA)

Minimum required Qualifications:

- 1- Ideally at least 3 years of experience as credit risk analyst. Experience or understanding of other risk matters is a plus.

- 2- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills both in English and French. Knowledge of another European language is a plus.

- 3- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and sense of urgency.

- 4- Pragmatic with strong problem solving skills. Good stress resilience.

- 5- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
