Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for 2 x Receptionists to Job Share, based in Portsmouth PO1 3HH. This is a permanent part time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £10,700 per annum dependent upon skills and experience.

This is a job share role. Two positions covering 06:00 - 18:00 day shift rota for two weeks, then 18:00 - 06:00 night shift for two weeks. Some weekend's worked.  Public and Bank holidays also worked if it falls into the rota. Reception open 24/7/365.

Dealing with clients/customers in a polite and professional manner, The Receptionist is the front of house for ENGIE and therefore represents the company. 

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
·  Working day/night/weekend shift rota in a 24/7 Naval Base accommodation reception 
·  Reception duties – Using a standalone database to make reservations received from various sources, make up future arrivals paperwork, checking in/out and monitor the availability of rooms
·  Make up swipe card for entry into accommodation building and rooms, using propriety software
·  Report defects to ENGIE Helpdesk
·  Sort mail for current occupants
·  Monitor BMS and fire alarm system
·  Report out of working hours emergencies to on-call ENGIE Technician
·  To deal with all incoming phone calls for ENGIE/Junior Rates
·  Accommodation in a professional and timely manner
·  To deal with all enquiries to ENGIE Reception desk
·  Receptionist to attend identified training
·  Maintaining and monitoring of bed linen stock levels
·  Liaise with clients daily

Qualifications or Required Experience:   

·  Previous experience in a similar role
·  Good IT skills
·  Being able to communicate at all levels; client, customer and suppliers
·  Flexibility, being able to manage own workload and working to deadlines
·  Night shift work experience
