Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE’s Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

GEM manages one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe, including electricity, natural gas, bulk commodities and environmental vproducts.

Organization:

Inside GEM, our cross-commodities desk made of 15 traders has 3 missions : market making on gas/power/oil/certificates, xVA management and optimal execution. It combines several type of skills such as trading, quantitative/data analysis and programming. To accompany our growth on those topics, we are offering an opportunity to take part to the building of our analytical framework.

Main Activities:

You will be empowered by diversified missions allowing you to express your talents such as:

·  Getting/structuring data from multiple sources
·  Extracting information from collected data via data analysis algorithms fitting our needs
·  Building/feeding a data analysis portal

Work location:

Courbevoie, ENGIE T1

Education and professional background:

·  Engineering school with major in IT and data sciences/applied mathematics

Hard skills:

·  Quantitative and analytical skills, data management/analysis, programming (Python/C#)

Soft skills:

·  Curiosity, at ease with numbers and data-processing, tenacity, flexibility, client-driven

Languages:

·  The candidate should be fluent in english
