The role of the Quality Coordinator is to:

To direct, support and oversee the quality technicians to deliver optimum performance whilst adhering to all Company Standards of conduct, Policies and Procedures. Ensure that the company meets or exceeds requirements for customers and provide support to the quality manager as required.Your duties will include but not be limited to the following.

Experience, education, skills:

·  The Quality Coordinator needs to be fully competent in modern quality practices.

·  This can be proven by a CQI education to Level 3 experience in a similar role is also desirable.

·  A good working knowledge of the ISO9001 Standard & successful completion of an internal auditor course is beneficial.

·  The ability to communicate at all levels using both descriptive statistics and technical terminology, as well as achieving a minimum LSSGB certification. Statistical Analysis and Mini-tab experience are desirable.

·  Above all, the Quality Coordinator is to manage the team to ensure timely and accurate results are delivered to all internal & external customers.

Key responsibilities

·  Ability to work in fast-paced environment

·  Shift Coverage when required

·  Lead Quality Testing for special projects

·  Perform Supplemental Testing completion

·  Procure and Deliver of Samples to head office for global studies

·  Test, when necessary, and Approve Incoming Raw Materials

·  Assist Quality Manager in investigations into Customer Complaints.

·  Provide QC Lab support to Production/R&D during trials/PPAP's etc.

·  Manage QA Hold area

·  Quality Induction for all new employees

·  Manage Risk locally

·  Assist HPT Projects

·  Assist Change Management Leader in implementation of quality lean projects

·  Manage Retain Samples

·  Lead Quality 5S efforts

·  Perform Internal Audits

·  Manage Quality Department SOP Documents

·  Update the Quality Management System using SharePoint as and when required

·  Train employees in SOPs

·  Manage inventory of QC Lab consumables.

·  Approve of PDCA's from QC Technicians.

·  Assist in customer audits and regulatory body requests.

·  Participate in Gemba walks

·  Represent Quality in Production Meetings, in absence of Manager

·  Update MSA Testing.

·  Analysis of data using statistical software such as mini tab
