International Projects, located in Zwijndrecht (Antwerp) is looking for a (m/f) Project Purchaser .

We make part of the Division Industry North, as a reliable partner for the construction and commissioning of large and complex multi-technical installations we serve top rated companies in Western Europe, active in petrochemical, pharma, power generation, tank storage… with modular construction as well as stick build installation. Your mission

As a Project Purchaser you are responsible for the purchasing activities for large projects in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Subcontracts Manager. You will act as a discussion partner from the quotation phase to the completion of a project.

 

Your role & responsibilities

· 
actively involved in the optimization of the tactical part of the purchasing process

· 
responsible for the analysis of the market and the development of cooperation agreements for your specific categories

· 
negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors taking into account all specific needs of the projects

· 
provide advice and collaborate with the internal customer

· 
ensure that the internal customer's requests are processed in accordance with specific guidelines

· 
responsible for checking and monitoring contractual conditions, this includes planning

· 
provide reports on the results achieved and the status of the purchasing process

Your qualifications

· 
bachelor or master degree in Engineering or Economics

· 
problem-solving, accurate and numerical

· 
very good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English, German is a plus

· 
relevant experience in project purchasing for large projects in international context

· 
proven experience with regard to contracting, negotiating and/or project procurement

· 
knowledge of international suppliers and market players is a big plus

· 
communicative, flexible and stress resistant

· 
a real team player with a sense for initiative
