Part Time Evening Cleaning Operative - Barnwood, Gloucester

Job description

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in EDF Energy, Barnett Way, Barnwood, Gloucester, GL4 3RS. These are permanent, part time roles working 16.5 hours per week. Working hours required;
Monday to Wednesday - 5pm - 8.30pm
Thursday - 5pm - 8pm
Friday - 4pm - 7pm
(No weekend work unless overtime is required)
On offer is a competitive salary of £7.83 per hour, national wage limit applies.


Key responsibilities:

·  Responsible for ensuring all areas you are assigned to and any other activities given to by your line manger are carried out to the standards required.
·  Ability to multitask, make decisions and work on own initiative.
·  Be a confident communicator with all levels of personnel.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  Aware of Health & Safety, COSHH and use of Risk & Method statements
·  Confident communicator with all levels
·  Fully competent with the requirements of a cleaning role and responsibilities as a cleaner
·  Experience of carrying out a similar role
·  Reliable and always arrives for work on time
·  Logical approach to problem solving and not afraid to challenge in the appropriate way
·  Ability to work alone as well as working as a member of a team
·  Shows initiative and pays attention to detail
COMPULSORY VETTING REQUIREMENTS

·  A valid passport/original birth certificate
·  Driving Licence (photo)
·  Current utility bill/bank/credit card statement
