ENGIE are recruiting for 3 x Painters to be based at Heysham 1 Power Station. This will be a fixed term role cover for up to 12 months, the role is full-time working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

To supporting the Facilities Team enthusiasm, drive and the ability to facilitate
changes are important to the role.
Supported by excellent communication and interpersonal skills candidates must be self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude

· 
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans & follow both verbal and written work instructions.

· 
Use and maintenance of the tools of the painting trade safely and skilfully.

· 
Ability to erect and work from ladders and scaffolds safely.

· 
Ability to safely work at height, and in environments that may have contain dust or fumes

· 
Plan and prioritise work

· 
Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H/S and

· 
Complete relevant paperwork

· 
Compliant with all safety related policies and procedures

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  ICATS – (Optional)
·  City & Guilds or Equivalent (Mandatory) Engie/EDF Training Requirements upon appointment:

·  Engie Induction (Mandatory)
·  Engie Health and Safety (level one) including COSHH(Mandatory)
·  Engie Manual Handling (Mandatory)
·  EDF Energy - Safe Unescorted Access to Site (Site Specific (Mandatory))
·  EDF Energy - Entry into Radiation and Contamination Controlled Areas (Mandatory)
·  EDF Energy - Generic Dressing / Undressing for CCA(Mandatory)
·  EDF Energy - Foreign Materials Exclusion Monitor / Guardian (Mandator There is also an expectation to undertake further training as requested in line with the Clients and Engie operational requirements.
