The opportunity:
Our retail energy business has more than 700,000 customer accounts and is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services and technologies, which help Australian households manage their energy bills and emissions.
You will report to the Head of Business Operations, ENGIE Retail and manage a small team that supports Business Operations.
You may possess existing knowledge of the energy industry, or have relevant experience in another industry and wish to establish a career, in a new and exciting industry.
You will thrive in a supportive commercial environment, where you can leverage your people management and leadership skills. Your strength will be taking a wide view of the business you operate in, with a curiosity and desire to learn about a new business, and have an impact.
The Operations Support Manager will contribute to the success of the business’ strategic goals by assisting with the co-ordination of the day-to-day functions of the Operations Support Team
Responsibilities will include:
· Manage the Operations Support Team and allocate work and support with prioritisation and escalations to ensure performance deliverables are met
· Accountable for the governance of the operational resilience framework
· Coordinate price changes and new offer launch, including administration and communication to channel partners.
· Trouble shoot issues relating to system and information/data flow to and from the external channel partners.
· Develop and implement continuous process improvements across operations.
· Support the Head of Business Operations with Budget, Financial and Contract Management, including the development and updating of relevant business reports
