In order to strengthen its teams, Tractebel seeks for its Nuclear Business Unit a :

 

Engineer in Fire De tection Systems
 
 
Your function
 
·  You must be able to manage the various aspects relating to the design, installation and commissioning of new Fire Detections Systems (FDS) at nuclear power stations, such as detection control panel, detectors, fibrolaser, aspiration, cameras, deluge, interfaces with HVAC….

In addition, you must be able to take on the following tasks:

·  Take charge a part of design, renovation and optimization studies for FDS, in compliance with the specifications, dedicated fire regulations and AREI/RGIE;
·  Be able to participate to the factory tests, the installation and commissioning of electrical systems such as fire detection systems, AC and DC electrical boards, DC and Safe AC systems, power and I&C cabling, lighting...;
·  Negotiate the FDS Contract with help of a Buyer, follow-up of the contract management, approve billing on based on BOQ, write provisional acceptances,…;
·  Find out the information on site, red-mark and check the as-built drawings;
·  Set-up lists or data bases in Excel such as equipment lists, settings lists, punch lists,…;
·  Oversee the electrical interfaces (electrical schemes,…) relating to other technical disciplines or with the customer’s installation;
·  Write reports in Word such as site inspection, minutes of meetings,…

·  You have got a Master in Electricity or Automation with a least ten years of experience in the field of Fire Detection Systems.  An experience in nuclear sites is a plus;
·  You are BA5 certified;
·  You have proficient knowledge of Dutch and a good grasp of French and English;
·  You are motivated and able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team, Customer-satisfaction must be part of your day-to-day vision;
·  You have a dynamic personality and a proactive and innovative approach to work;
·  You are independent and have an acute sense of responsibility, you are rigorous;
·  You are ready to work full time in the Nuclear site of Doel.
