Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Multi skilled Technician to be based at Salford Royal Stott Lane, Salford M6 8HD. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,080 per annum, plus Call Out allowance of £173.58 per Month.

Alternating Shift patterns will be:
week 1   7.00  -  15.00         
week 2   10.00 - 18.00     

General Overview:  

The role of the multi-skilled technician will be based at Salford Royal but may also be required to cover other sites when necessary, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the Salford Royal. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. The Engineer will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area and will form part of the out of hours on call rota.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Ensure workload is planned, delivered to customer specification and agreed service requirement.
·  Plan prioritise and resource projects.
·  Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations, and helping us to achieve our Zero Harm target.
·  Install, commission and service plant equipment.
·  Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems and monitor facility performance, through PPM programme, identifying any additional works required.
·  Flexible working hours required.
·  Administer and complete relevant paperwork.
·  Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors.
·  Fair, consistent and courteous attitude in all dealings at all levels.
·  Full driving licence required
·  At all times maintain a smart appearance and professional manner that is representative of Engie in the workplace.
·  Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion

Required  Qualifications & Experience:

·  ONC/C&G or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline  
·  Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
·  Sound knowledge of Health & Safety.
·  Ability to measure, works to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams.
·  PFI/Healthcare experience would be an advantage.
Desirable Experience:

·  Experience of working on or with AHU’s, FCU’s ,LTHW, Pumps, Pipework, Valves, Chilled and Potable Water Systems
·  Pressure Systems
·  PPM & Reactive Work
·  Basic Electrical Knowledge/Fault Finding
