Engie are looking for a Plumber to join our team in the Birmingham area. You be a part of the response and repairs team working in social housing for Birmingham City Council.
We are looking for someone who is qualified with their CSCS card and experience in social housing and asbestos awareness. In return we will offer you a 6-month fixed term contact starting as soon as possible, after a successful probation period you will be able to work as part of our out of hours service, there is also an opportunity for the right candidate to be offered a permanent position with Engie.
We will ensure you have the correct equipment for your role, you will be provided with an Engie van (for business use only) power tools and uniform.
Who are you?
• CSCS Card
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check
• Asbestos awareness
• Social housing experience
• City and Guild (Plumbing/Heating Engineer) or equivalent experience (Essential)
• Time served apprenticeship (Desirable)
• Relevant gas qualification for the repair, installation and maintenance of gas systems (Desirable)
• Current valid driving license (Essential)
