ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Refrigeration/Air-conditioning Engineer to be based in the Yorkshire Region. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile refrigeration/Air-conditioning Engineer to provide the necessary specialist engineering support to a long established existing Contract where the assets vary from Catering/ Laboratory/ Drugs Refrigeration cabinets, Cold-rooms and Air-conditioning systems.

The normal working hours will be 8:00am until 16:30pm and you will also be part of the on call rota.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Carry out all PPM tasks in accordance with the annual PPM Planner, and notify any repairs as necessary
·  To be available to respond & repair any reactive calls raised through the onsite Helpdesk
·  Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis
·  Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety
·  Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering  Supervisor/Manager as per escalation procedure
·  When requested, be available for emergency call-outs as per call out rota
On reasonable request be available to work overtime to accommodate the sites requirements

The scope of equipment to be worked on will include but not be limited to the following:

·  Refrigeration Equipment including laboratory refrigerators, deep freeze cold-rooms, blood fridges, Mortuary Cold Stores, catering refrigeration etc.
·  Air conditioning system, VRF, VRV, Split systems etc.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  Experience within a similar role/environment is essential
·  City & Guilds award in 2079-11 F-Gas and OD regulations or equivalent
·  Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications in an appropriate discipline
·  Minimum air conditioning engineer qualifications to City & Guilds 2072, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
·  Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc.
·  Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc.
·  Fully conversant with all major manufactures systems and equipment
·  Able to work on own initiative For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
