ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Gas Supervisor to be based in Bridgend, CF329BS. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, call out allowance and benefits package.

General Overview 

The Mobile Mechanical Gas Supervisor will supervise engineers, fabric handymen and Specialist Service Providers involved in delivering building services planned maintenance, reactive repairs and small works in Customers’ premises, delivering a high level of service level at all times to meet the requirements of the contract scope and specification. 

Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Mobile Mechanical Gas Supervisor Include:

· 
To manage ENGIE staff and Specialist Service Providers (SSPs) to ensure that they are focused on service delivery and that PPM work, energy management, installation and reactive works completed on time to a high standard.

· 
To provide engineers with technical support and take part in 24 hour emergency call out service.

· 
To carryout site surveys for the purposes of preparing quotations for PPM and Extra works.

· 
To undertake site inspections to generate quotations for extra works. 

· 
To assist in meeting Customer KPIs ensuring contract retention and high service levels.

· 
To assist in ensuring any new contracts are mobilised correctly and to agreed timescales as directed by the Service Manager.

· 
To bring to the attention of the Service Manager any opportunities to reduce reliance on subcontractors and achieve higher margins.  

· 
To supervise SSPs in their service delivery activities ensuring that relevant paperwork is supplied and works completed on time, to an acceptable standard.

· 
To ensure that energy readings are supplied for eSight and that any remedial actions are taken as requested by the report issued after data entry.

· 
To ensure ENGIE staff and SSPs work in a safe manner at all times in compliance with SHEQ policies and procedures and to carry out safety audits. 

· 
To ensure that all contracts have up to date Health and Safety plans and that Tool Box Talks are carried out on schedule.

· 
To ensure compliance with Company work wear guidelines by wearing and ensuring staff wear Company work wear including PPE and are smartly dressed at all times.

· 
To ensure all site log books and records are complete, kept up to date, tidy and in a safe place for audit.

· 
To ensure Customer work areas are clean and tidy at all times projecting a good image and ensuring safety.

· 
To carry out vehicle inspections ensuring that all Company vehicles are well maintained, in a clean condition and all faults reported.

· 
To ensure Company paperwork is received on the correct dates from employees and sent to the local office on time to ensure Customer and staff obligations are met.

· 
To ensure that all time sheets are received on time and checked in the local office, all information is correct and the detail clear and concise.

· 
To allocate tools and equipment and ensure its return, carrying out necessary safety checks and calibration when required, ensure all records are kept up to date.

· 
To carryout site inspections and audits of work undertaken by ENGIE employees and SSPs

· 
To line manage immediate staff ensuring resources are allocated evenly and performance issues are dealt with in accordance with the HR policies and procedures.  

· 
To carry out annual appraisals in a timely manner on team members in conjunction with Service Manager

· 
To comply with and ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures

· 
Carry out Gas Audits on our mobile engineering team.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Skills  

·  Qualified and experienced engineer
·  Good level of interpersonal skills 
·  Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and business technology
·  Effective organisational/ resource planning skills
·  Effective organisational/ resource planning skills 
·  Good standard of writing skills
·  Time management and meeting control/management
·  Resourceful with a “ Will Do Attitude “
·  Must have commercial gas qualifications and experience!

Knowledge 

·  Awareness of Maintenance and IFS market
·  Knowledge of ENGIE products and services
·  Good knowledge and understanding of SHEQ policies and standards
·  Good understanding of company technical and compliance standards
