Mobile Mechanical Engineer

ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based in Brandon IP27 9PS. This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.

The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm. You will also be part pf the on call rota, which is 1 in 11 weeks.

Reporting in to the Service Manager, the role of the Mobile Mechanical engineer will be to work between two facilities Brandon and Cambridgeshire. The Mobile Mechanical Engineer role will be primarily maintenance and emergency response reactive repairs plus minor works repairs.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include :

·  Carry out PPM tasks and record and complete relative documents 
·  Carry out reactive callouts on critical systems 
·  Complete compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standard
·  Minor mechanical repairs and small works  
·  Includes company van 
·  Included in out of hours callout rota 
·  Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures
·  Promote and drive the company values
·  Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change

Qualifications or Required Experience:  

·  City and Guilds in Plumbing or pipe fitting (required to achieve JSP375 standard)
·  Strong communication skills 
·  Good experience of Mechanical maintenance and repairs 
·  Previous AP/AE experience and qualifications preferred but not essential 
·  Full UK Driving Licence For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
