Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to be based in Corunna House, 39 Cadogan St, Glasgow G2 7AB. This is a permanent full time role working 41.25 hours per week. 
On offer is a salary banding of £23,000 -£23,000, dependent upon skills and experience .

The role will be working on a 5 over 7 shift pattern. This can be explained in more detail at a further stage.

General Overview:  

The Mobile Fabric Engineer will have the ability understand specific Client requirements/regulations and solve issues in a manner that will not put their products or people at risk as a result of our works.

The ability to understand contract and Health & Safety requirements/regulations.  To attempt to solve issues in the first instance in a manner that will not put the client’s products or people at risk of contamination as a result of our works. To escalate any necessary issues to Supervisor.

To be successful in this role you must provide the following:

·  Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps) If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
·  Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving License. 
·   - Passport and all relevant work permits
·   - NI Number information / proof and FULL Birth certificate (not the short version)
·  If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
·  3 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. Driving License, council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
·  Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  To undertake fabric reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
·  To actively undertake fabric proactive maintenance works (reactive works not yet identified by a client) identified on site.
·  To undertake fabric PPM works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
·  To undertake new installations, major and minor fabric repair works and attend to breakdown’s when required.
·  Alterations and/or redecoration to building fabric as requested by the client.
·  To complete repairs/ breakdowns in plumbing, minor joinery, tiling, painting and plastering where required.
·  To comply with the client and ENGIE Health & Safety requirements at all times.
Additional responsibilities:

·  To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
·  To take ownership and accountability for designated number of buildings ensuring site log books and standards are kept to high standard.
·  To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
·  To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
·  To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
·  To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
·  To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to.

Qualifications or Required Experience: 

·  Fabric / Handyman  Skills and experience.
·  NVQ Qualification or equivalent  in joinery, plumbing, general building and fabric skills
·  Painting and Decorating knowledge and experience
·  Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Desirable:

·  Basic Electrical Experience For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
