Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to be based at XUnit 42 Enterprise Centre, Bryn Road, Tondu, Bridgend, CF32 9BS. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm (Call Out Rota ,Dealing with Emergencies). General Overview:

The role of the Mobile Electrical is to deliver building services/plumbing maintenance planned and preventative, reactive repairs and small works in Customers’ premises, deliver a high level of service level at all times to meet the requirements of the contract scope and specification. Ensure compliance with SHEQ, iCMS policies and procedures. Reporting to the Supervisor/Service Manager/Site Manager/Account Manager

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  To focus on service delivery and that PPM work, installation and reactive works completed on time to a high standard.
·  To provide customers and contracts with technical support and take part in 24 hour emergency call out service.
·  To carryout site surveys for the purposes of preparing quotations for PPM and extra works, if requested by supervisor.
·  To assist in site inspections to generate quotations for extra works. 
·  To assist in meeting Customer KPIs ensuring contract retention and high service levels, customer and site dependant.
·  To bring to the attention of the supervisor any opportunities to reduce reliance on subcontractors and achieve higher margins.  
·  To assist in supervising SSPs in their service delivery activities ensuring that relevant paperwork is supplied and works completed on time, to an acceptable standard.
·  To work in a safe manner at all times in compliance with SHEQ policies and procedures.
·  Compliance with Company work wear guidelines by wearing and ensuring staff wear Company work wear including PPE and are smartly dressed at all times.
·  To ensure all sites log books and records are complete, kept up to date, tidy and in a safe place for audit.
·  To ensure Customer work areas are clean and tidy at all times projecting a good image and ensuring safety.
·  Ensure your Company vehicle is well maintained, in a clean condition and all faults reported.
·  To make sure company paperwork is completed with the correct times, dates and relevant information, sent to the local office on time and ensure 
·  To ensure that all time sheets are returned on time to the local office, all information is correct and the detail clear and concise.
·  All tools and equipment is returned (if hired), necessary safety checks and calibration are undertaken.
·  To comply with and ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures

Required Knowledge & Experience: 

·  The successful applicant must hold the 17th edition qualification, C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection and ideally have experience with Fasttest (amtech testing software), and have vast commercial electrical experience, a strong building services knowledge is preferred.
·  CRB Essential.
·  Good level of interpersonal skills 
·  Effective organisational/ resource planning skills 
·  Good standard of writing skills
·  Time management and meeting control/management
·  Resourceful with a “Will Do Attitude 
·  Knowledge of Engie Delivery/products and services
·  Good knowledge and understanding of SHEQ policies and standards
·  Good understanding of company technical and compliance standards
·  Full UK Driving Licence.
