About the Role
We have a 12 month fixed term contract vacancy for a Market Operations Improvement Analyst. The job holder will support the Market Operations Improvement Manager in driving continuous improvement across Market Operations. The role involves identifying areas for improvement, supporting action plans, and embedding an improvement methodology across the teams.
This is a hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days a week.

Summary of key responsibilities
· Support the 2025 continuous improvement projects to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key areas for improvement.
· Provide recommendations for the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies.
· Collect and analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress.
· Provide training and coaching to employees on continuous improvement methodologies.
· Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all Market Operations functions.
· Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
· Contribute to the development of the training roadmap for 2025, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all required topics and minimizing disruption to daily operations.
· Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance workload management and operational efficiency.
· Empower employees by providing them with the necessary tools and training to perform at their best.
Knowledge and skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
· Knowledge of the energy supply industry is a plus.
Experience/qualifications
· Proven record of excellent customer service
· Previous industry experience in a similar role is desirable.
· GCSE English Grade C / 5 and above (or equivalent).
· GCSE Maths Grade C / 5 and above (or equivalent).
