Job description



ENGIE are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to be based in Burnley BB10 1PD. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will be responsible for the Supervision and day to day management of the Technicians and Engineers across the Blackburn and Lancashire Schools.

Role Overview

· 
Implement a planned preventative maintenance system and ensure all PPM and re-active tasks are completed in a timely manner

· 
Carry out the day to day subcontractor management

· 
Management of staff sickness, absence and holidays and involvement in appraisals, performance management and training requirements

· 
Carry out regular audits across all services to ensure services are being maintained to agreed standards and performance, including ISO & OHSAS standards;

· 
Act as an AP/RP/CP where necessary

· 
Act as Technical Adviser to the Maintenance Team

· 
Ensure risk assessments and method statements are in place as deemed necessary

· 
Produce monthly reports for the Technical Manager and ensure minimum service and unavailability deductions.

· 
Ensure full compliance with relevant policies and procedures, codes of practice, statutory requirements and ensure professional standards are maintained;

· 
Participate in the Management On Call Rota.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

Education/Qualification

·  ONC/HNC in an Engineering Subject (or equivalent in specialist trade)
·  IOSH Managing safely
·  Previous experience in Supervisory Management
·  Experience of undertaking AP/RP duties within similar FM projects
·  Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines

Skills/Knowledge

·  Computer literate with good IT skills
·  Possess a firm understanding of Health & Safety
·  Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines
·  Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles
·  Full UK Driving Licence
·  Knowledge of PFI contracts
·  Read Technical Drawings
