Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to be based in Leeds. This is a permanent full-time role working 42 hours per week.

What will you deliver?

·  Electrical maintenance and repairs, fitting new flex’s and plug tops to equipment, lamp cleaning, and replacement, minor electrical repairs, within individual capabilities, and portable appliance testing.
·  Mechanical repairs, tap rewashing, drain unblocking, pre-planned maintenance, water testing, assisting in minor steam repairs.
·  Fabric repairs, painting, patch plastering, ceiling repairs, and wall protection, glazing replacement, and flooring repairs as necessary.
·  Have an awareness of the operational procedures and safe working practices applicable to the work in hand.

Who are we looking for?

·  Experience of working within a similar role.
·  Part qualified engineer would be desirable though not essential.
·  Ability to undertake any and all minor maintenance tasks across the site without direct supervision.
·  A basic understanding of building services and fabric maintenance.
