ENGIE are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to be based at Tameside General Hospital, OL69RW. This is initially a 6 months temporary, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum and benefits package.

Shift pattern Wednesday to Sunday flexible working 7.5 hours per day

Role Overview

· 
Carry out routine maintenance, repair and cleaning activity across the site (Mechanical, Electrical, Fabric or Grounds).

· 
Carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms.

· 
Respond to breakdowns, repairs and blockages.

· 
Undertake any reasonable duties directed by Technical Services Manager / Technical Services Supervisor to maintain all services to the NHS Trust

· 
Required to participate in over-time work from time to time as necessary to meet the requirements of the service.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Training and experience in External and Internal fabric repairs, grounds maintenance / repairs and building services.
·  Basic computer literacy.
·  Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
·  Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
