The Legal Department of ENGIE Belux Services (Axima, Cofely Services and Fabricom), based in Brussels, is looking for a Legal Counsel (m/f). 
You will report to the General Counsel of ENGIE Belux Services.

Your mission
·  analysing (public and private) tender documents and providing hands-on advice
·  negotiating and drafting all types of commercial contracts (construction agreements, maintenance agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, etc.)
·  providing practical legal advice on a wide range of legal matters related to all ENGIE Belux Services-activities (commercial law, company law, contract law, public procurement law, etc.)
·  following up on national and international litigation in which ENGIE Belux Services is involved

·  you hold a Master’s in Law
·  you have three to five years’ experience in the areas mentioned above, preferably as a lawyer or an in-house counsel in an international environment
·  you are fluent in both spoken and written English, Dutch and French
·  you have a clear talent for negotiating complex contracts and transactions
·  you have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have an open, impartial and international outlook
·  you are assertive and self-confident and are a true team player, with the ability to work on your own
·  you are open-minded, flexible and able to cope with stress
·  you are prepared to travel at short notice on assignments for a limited duration
