Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Learning & Development Co-ordinator for a 6 month fixed term contract. The office location will be based on where the successful candidate resides, the role will include coverage across the North. This is a Temporary full-time role working monday to friday. Responsible for supporting the L&D team, ensuring the efficient booking of courses and allocation of trainers. Managing and collating performance data and administrating the L&D function for Central / North and support for these regions as required.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Management of diaries for the internal trainers
·  Management of in-house booking system
·  Assisting with the allocation of rooms
·  Obtaining approval from Line Managers
·  Contacting delegates for courses
·  Ensure stock levels of training material and equipment are adequate for the purpose
·  Copying and collocating of course materials
·  Follow all virtual course booking process and procedures
·  Release / coordinate all relevant e-learning modules
·  Manage all aspects of CSCS, ECS and JIB cards including revision materials
·  Monitor expiry dates and arrange E-Learning where necessary
·  Support site Management team to request courses for employees
·  Management of on-site training bookings
·  Allocation of trainers on site where required
·  Identification of available courses and providers
·  Advising staff on relevant courses, linking with L&D team for advice
·  Booking external courses
·  Liaising with Accounts regarding payments


·  Logging of invoices
·  Raising cheque requests
·  Raise purchase order numbers prior to booking courses
·  Update and send monthly recharge sheets and reports
·  Work with wider L&D team to secure funding opportunities for training
·  Ensure PSPs if relevant are signed and processed
·  Report on non-attendance / feedback to Managers & Directors where necessary
·  Creation of training performance and relative costs each month
·  Prepare and produce training reports and stats
·  Attend L&D coordination meetings
·  Complete CITB short duration course grants where applicable

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Good IT skills, knowledge of MS Office / Virtual communication packages
·  Confident telephone manner
·  Excellent organisation skills
·  Administration / Customer service experience
·  Previous experience in a similar role
·  Able to communicate confidently
·  Able to prioritise and work within time constraints
·  Work both individually and as part of a team
