Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE’s Business Units. Organization:

The strong interaction with the GEM Internal Audit team, and the diversity of the audited processes will give the opportunity to acquire knowledge of the ENGIE Group and its businesses (commodity trading, risk management, project management) as well as a real-life experience of internal audit techniques and methodology in a challenging and international context (covering all regulatory framework both in the banking and the commodity sector). Also, the seniority of the auditees, the management and the team will be an opportunity for the trainee to acquire high communication skills and demanding working standards.

Rôle:

The trainee will mainly consist in the following goals and objectives :

·  take part of the implementation phase of a new audit tool to implemented in Q4 2020.
·  assist in the preparatory work of the audit fieldwork before the launch of the audit missions: documentary research on the audited topics (regulation, internal guidelines), briefing supports production, working program drafting…

The trainee occasionally participate to the audit missions by assisting the audit team during the engagement.

Main Activities:

·  New audit tool :

In Q420 a new tool will be deployed to support internal audit engagements.

The trainee will assist the senior auditors in preparing the historical data transfer, performing consistency checks to ensure exhaustiveness and quality of the data, building the overall audit dashboards, interacting with IS teams for the deployment of controls over the tool implementation phase.

·  Preparatory work :

The trainee will collect all the relevant documents for the audit mission in a document repository and prepare a preliminary analysis of the main risks to cover during the audit mission.

Education and professional background:

·  Master level in Internal Audit norms with a first experience would be appreciate

Hard skills:

·  Interest in the energy sector and more specifically in the commodity and assets trading markets (Gas, LNG, Power, Oil, Biomass…)
·  Structured approach and rigorous, quantitative skills are strongly advised
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills : Fluency in English) is required as GEM primary working language
·  Analytical and pragmatic, redactional and synthesis skills
·  Mastery of the Windows Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), in particular, good command of EXCEL functions
·  Training in IS Project Management is a plus

Soft skills:

·  Dynamic and flexible communication skills: the candidate will be asked to interact with senior staff members and management of all level
·  High integrity, empathy and ethical discretion/confidentiality are required to manage sensitive information and difficult personal situations
·  Team player, open minded and willingness to interact with an international staff
·  Initiatives taker and strong curiosity

Languages:
The candidate should be fluent in english
