Industrial Painter(s) - Torness Power Station

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for an Industrial Painter to be based in 
Torness Power Station, 
Dunbar, 
East Lothian EH42 1QS. This is on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role is full time working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30. On offer is a competitive salary.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Undertake painting duties, including applications of industrial coatings, use of power tools including track blasters ETC in accordance with Company standards
·  Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team leader
·  Ensure all equipment used is done so to company and/or manufacturers standards
·  Maintain and given documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards
·  Attend Toolbox talks and undertake duties in accordance with the information given
·  Ensure compliance with Company and client Health, Safety and Environmental rules
·  Report any accidents, near misses, health and safety or environmental issues to  Supervisor/Team leader immediately.
·  As an effective member of the Hard Services Team, you will be focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to work within the team in a changing business environment.

·  Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred 
·  Driving Licence is desirable
·  An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment is essential, particularly in the use of hazardous substances and their controls
·  Enthusiastic and committed to provide a professional, high quality service to the company and the client
·  Ability to work to a high standard with minimum supervision with the ability to lead  and work well within team
·  A flexible approach to working hours is essential due to the operation needs of the contract For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
