Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Industrial Operatives to be based at Torness Power Station Dunbar East Lothian EH42 1QS. This is a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday   08.30 - 16.30. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.


General Overview: 

As an effective member of the Soft Services Team, you will be focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to work within the team in a changing business environment. Reporting to Soft Services Manager.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Undertake day to day duties, associated with an industrial environment.  
·  Manual labouring, industrial cleaning, operating various equipment, carrying out confined space works, fire watching duties, pumping of Sumps, assisting various skilled teams, driving and such as grass Cutting, in accordance with Company standards
·  Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team Leader.
·  Ensure all equipment used is done so to Company and/or manufacturers standards.
·  Maintain any given documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
·  Attend toolbox talks and undertake duties in accordance with the information given.
·  Ensure compliance with Company and client Health, Safety and Environmental rules.

Qualifications or Required Experience:   

·  Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred 
·  An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
