Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for X3 Housekeeper / Porter to be based in University of Birmingham, Pritchatts Park Student Accommodation Village. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week with potential overtime. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

·  Provide a planned (weekly) and reactive cleaning service to shared kitchen & bathroom facilities and building entrances / circulation spaces within student accommodation units.
·  Carry out daily inspections of designated areas (internal and external), addressing / reporting issues as required.
·  Operate a variety of equipment to effectively clean hard & soft floorcoverings, furnishings, Windows & other building fabric
·  Assist in the site mailroom, making deliveries to residents when / where required.
·  Ensure Cupboards are kept cleand and locked when not in use.
·  Maintain & update student display screens / boards across the site
·  Monitor stock levels and report data to the contract administrator

Who are we looking for?

·  BICs Accreditation desirable.
·  Excellent communication and customer service skills
·  Demonstrate good time management skills, working to deadlines and adhering to set procedures.
·  Needs to be highly motivated, organised, versatile and adaptive
·  Credible experience within a similar role
