Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Cleaner to be based in CAE Manchester, Chester Road, Woodford, Cheshire SK7 1AG. This is a permanent part time role working 20 hours per week.  On offer is a competitive salary between £7.50 - £7.70 per hour depending on skills and experience. Additional overtime will be available to cover the full time cleaner on days and also on some weekends.

 

This position is 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, the 4 hours can be completed at any time between 15:00pm – 00:00pm, to suit the individuals circumstances.


As the Part time Cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleaning services across the site.You will work in a flexible and adaptable way and be prepared to work across any of the services in ENGIE FM Scope as part of the ‘One Team’ approach. Appropriate training will be given when required.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Follow work schedule for areas to be cleaned
·  Clean all specified areas within the time allocated and to the standard required.
·  Daily, weekly and periodic tasks are carried out as required.
·  Deal with any complaints immediately and report them to the Cleaning Supervisor
·  Report faulty or damaged equipment to Cleaning Supervisor
·  Attend all meetings/training/toolbox talks on a monthly basis
·  Train to clean all aspects/areas of the site to be fully compliant and flexible
·  Provide a high level of customer care / Customer Service
·  Use, handle, transport and store equipment correctly and safely at all times
·  Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and materials
·  Broad awareness of materials used within the duties of the role
·  Ability to handle, use and store COSHH correctly in safe and secure approach.

·  Must have own transport (as there is no public transport available to site)
·  Be aware of the use of risk assessments and method statements prior to cleaning tasks
·  Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment and materials
·  General building compliance and fault acknowledgement
·  Understanding of manual handling
·  Courteous and polite manner with an emphasis on Customer Service
·  Physically fit and capable to carry out any jobs required
·  Good time keeping and organisational skills
·  Ability to work in a team and adhere to the ENGIE ‘One Team’ Approach
