Job description



ENGIE are recruiting for a Handyperson to be based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, PO6 3LY. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum (with an additional monthly shift allowance of £196) as well as an excellent benefits package.

Shift pattern includes working days, lates and some weekends

You'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, testing, repairs, and new installation work covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems, and buildings to support a 24hr maintenance Service within the Portsmouth Hospital Trust.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  NVQ in maintenance or similar equivalent experience.
·  Building maintenance and systems
·  Basic competence with IT and PDA’s
·  Knowledge of other trades including relamping experience
·  Experience working in a hospital environment is desirable
·  Knowledge of HTM’s is desirable
