Fire Alarm Technician

Job description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and qualified Fire Alarm Technician to service sites in and around Melbourne , Victoria.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the effective delivery, installation and maintenance of fire detection systems and equipment for a number of our service maintenance contracts. Our team takes a proactive approach to exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.
Key duties include:
· Service and maintenance of Fire Protection and Safety systems Install, program, fault find and repair Fire Panels, EWIS and other Fire Electrical Equipment.
· Report work progress and performance by completing KPIs
· Be part of the On-Call roster
The successful candidate must have:
· Trade qualification (Electronic - fire detection) and a minimum of five years field experience preferably within the fire industry
· The ability to OBTAIN A Defence Base Pass, including a Police Check and Australian Citizenship
· High standard of written and oral communication skills
· Current Driver's Licence
· A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment
Selected candidate will need to undergo Pre-Employment Medical check prior to commencement.
